  I had a blood test appointment booked for 29th March 17 @ 08.55 & the lady taking my blood test was dreadful!!! She seemed like she didn't have a clue what she was doing!! She was just putting the needle in different parts of my arm & not getting any blood, Whereas no one has EVER had problem getting blood from my arm, but just felt like she didn't know where to put the needle! She must off poked the needle at least 3-4 times & failed & then finally got another nurse to help, who within the first attempt was successful & managed to get the blood sample!! It was that initial nurses manner & professionalism which was poor & she was blaming me not drinking or eating that caused her problems getting the blood!?!? Which I totally disagree with. I then went into the warren lane surgery on 30th March 17 as I had an appointment with the doctor for 5.20pm, whilst waiting I thought I would leave my review & then the receptionist got a fellow nurse to see me & it felt like she wasn't really interested in what I had to say, like I was at fault & then looking at my records said that the initial nurse only attempted twice, which I know 100% is false!!! & I just left feeling even more dissatisfied!!

  Absolutely awful. Who are they answerable to? The service is disgusting and in any normal kind of industry they would be fired. 11th in the queue get through to be told well we are going on our lunch now you need to call back at 1.30pm!!! Then I call back explaining I have believe that I have a slipped disc (advice from a retired Dr) and get told I have to call the next day in the morning to make an appointment. Cannot even book an appt in advance, cannot get through, cannot get a Dr Appointment at all. They are absolutley rubbish and not a patch on the old centre run by Dr Grundy on the LFE estate. The receptionists clearly do not have an understanding of anything, unable to show empathy or react to anything, like that comedy sketch "computer says no". AWFUL SACK THE LOT !!!!

  Have been with the surgery 24 years. The doctors and nurses are fantastic and will go the extra mile for your care. The appointment system is an absolute joke with no flexibility for full time workers. I have spent over a month in the past trying to get appointments. Why should we use our holiday or have to plead with managers to try and be seen at unsuitable times? Recently, I have tried to negotiate some form of appointment to no success and be told to keep trying. Although it is by no fault of the receptionist as they are pleasant and helpful with not much more they can do but is the worst it has been. The appointment experience makes you avoid going and trying to think of every other alternative!!
